Gail Gibbs Reed

Memorial services for Gail Gibbs Reed, 65, of Ashburn, Ga. will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Amboy Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Ms. Reed died Tuesday in Marietta following a sudden illness.

Ms. Reed was born in Turner County and was the daughter of the late Charlie B. and Alice Clyde Hamilton Gibbs. She an X-Ray Technician and was the retired Director of Radiology at Palmyra Park Hospital in Albany.

She was a graduate of Georgia Baptist School of Nursing and the Phoebe Putney Radiology School. She was a member of the Amboy Baptist Church.

Ms. Reed was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Benji Reed and one brother, Charles D. Gibbs.

She is survived by one daughter and son in law, Jill Reed Triola & Gordon Triola, Woodstock, Ga., two grandchildren, Dylan & Ansley Triola, Woodstock, Ga. Also surviving is one sister, Jane G. Morris, Dawson, GA.
