Norma Jeane Scott Morris

Funeral Services for Norma Jeane Scott Morris age 79 of Warner Robins, GA will be held Friday at 2:00 P. M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church, Ashburn, GA with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Morris died January 11, 2011 at her residence after an extended illness.

Mrs. Morris was a native and long time resident of Ashburn before moving to Warner Robins three years ago to be with her children. She was the daughter of the late Robert Raymond and Melvyn Davis Scott and was a retired elementary teacher with The Turner County Board of Education. She was a member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, puzzles and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Morris.

Survivors include her daughters Judy (Don) Wagy, Peggy (Pat) Jackson and Nell O’Malley all of Warner Robins, GA and two sisters Betty Reed, Pinehurst, N.C. , and Susie Janeway, Ewing, VA and a Grandson Ty (Elaine) Jackson and two Great-Grandchildren Will and Halle Jackson all of Macon, Ga.

The family will receive friends on Friday from Noon until time of services at Perry Funeral Chapel, 301 McLendon St., Ashburn, GA.
