Lettie Lenora Newsom Jolly

Funeral services for Lettie Lenora Newsom Jolly, 83, of Ashburn will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2011 11:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Jolly died Monday in Fitzgerald Nursing Home, Fitzgerald, Ga. following an extended illness.

Mrs. Jolly was born in Turner County, Georgia and was the daughter of George O. and Rillie Jane Turner Newsom. She was a nurse’s aide at Ashburn Health Care. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Walter Richard Jolly. She was preceded in death by one son G.W. Peterson, Sr., and one grandson Greg Peterson.

She is survived by a grandson, George (Beth) Peterson, Fitzgerald, Ga.; six grandchildren and one brother, Willie H. Newsom, Sycamore, Georgia.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday from 10:15-11:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
