Memorial services for Pardee Greer Ewing, 92, of Ashburn will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ashburn First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Ewing died Monday at her residence in Ashburn following an extended illness.

Mrs. Ewing was born in Valdosta, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Lloyd Barton and Julie Winn Varnedoe Greer. She was a member of the Ashburn First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the UMW and sang in the choir for 50 years. She was a former partner in Ewing Buick, Pontiac, and GMC. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Ewing, Jr.,one son-in-law, John Hunt, her sister, Mary Winn Rightmyer and two brothers, Mack & Lloyd Greer.

Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, John A. & Connie Ewing, III, Tifton, Ga.; Lloyd and Margaret Anne Ewing, Ashburn, Ga.; two daughters and son-in-law, Julie E. Hunt, Tifton, Ga. and Linda E. and Jim Curington, Ashburn, Ga. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Dallas (Angie) Hunt, Julie V. (Jamie) Hunt Mann, Melissa Ewing, Brooke Ewing (Jason) Gray, Jennifer Ewing (Bob) Schoen, Scott Ewing, Mary Margaret Ewing, Anna Pardee Curington, and Stan (Allison) Curington. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Dallas Hunt, Adylein Hunt, Don Leebern, Mary Virginia Hogan, Julie Ann Hogan, John Mann, Peyton Gray, Alexis Gray, Meg Schoen, Frances Schoen, Anna Schoen, and Jennings Curington and special friend and caregiver Hilda Hall, and her family. She is also survived by two brothers, Joe Greer, Gainesville, Florida, and Lee Greer of California.

The family will receive friends Wednesday in the church social hall immediately following services.
