James Charles "Charlie" Wynn

Funeral services for James Charles “Charlie” Wynn, 70, of Sycamore will be held Friday, April 22, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Wynn died Tuesday at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Wynn was born in Turner County, Georgia and was the son of the late John Thomas &Ruth Irene Shedd Wynn.

He served in the U.S. Navy and was the former owner and operator of Wynn’s Welding in Orlando, Florida. He was also a former sport fishing guide. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Winifred Lois Markel Wynn.

He is survived by his daughter Melissa Louise Wynn, Clermont, Florida.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel
