Sarah Paul Stewart Tanner

Funeral services for Sarah Paul Stewart Tanner, of Ashburn will be held Monday, July 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Tanner died Friday at Southern Care Assisted Living in Tifton following an extended illness.

Mrs. Tanner was born in Ashburn, Ga. and was the daughter of the late Olin Payson and Noreen Georgia Lucas Stewart. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Paula Scott of Ashburn, Ga.; one granddaughter, Stephanie (Dustin) Gaddis, North Augusta, S.C. Also surviving are two sisters, Margaret Barker, Ashburn, Ga. and VAnn (Bill) Kitchens, Valdosta, Ga.; several nieces and nephews and her extended family at Southern Care Assisted Living and Hospice of Tifton, Ga.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
