Barbara Ann Hallford Kennedy

Barbara Ann Halford Kennedy, 87, of Columbus passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at Piedmont Hospital in Columbus.

Barbara was born on June 23, 1937 in Andalusia, Alabama to the late John R. and Lena D. Martin Hallford. She was a member of the Ashburn First United Methodist Church. She loved working in her flower garden. She also enjoyed needle work of any kind and painting. Barbara loved animals of any kind and enjoyed hummingbirds and ladybugs. Barbara loved her family but especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Trisha (Ken) Clifton of Columbus; son, Wendell (Teresa) Lupo of Sycamore; grandchildren, Scott (Gisele) Clifton, Kerri (West) Cummings, Casey (Stina) Clifton and David Clifton. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, T. E. (Buddy) Kennedy, two sisters and eight brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 17, 2025 at Perry Funeral Chapel. A private family interment will follow. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Monday at the funeral home.
