Billy Hendricks Davison

Billy Hendricks Davison, 77, of Ashburn passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at his residence.

Billy was born in Chula on October 3, 1944 to the late Willie “Shorty” and Mildred Hazel Davis Davison. He retired as the Director of Forestry Services at Payne’s Flying Service and was a member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church. Billy enjoyed hunting and working in his shop. For many years Billy sang in quartets. He also enjoyed teaching kids in the AWANA program.

He is survived by his son, Tim Davison of Suwanee; sisters-in-law, Lois (Charles) Bobo of Ashburn and Shirley Brock of Ashburn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Linda Pate Davison and his sister, Yvonne Mayo.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 29, 2022 at the Ashburn First Baptist Church. The family will greet friends in the church sanctuary from 12:30PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
