Charles David Goff

Charles David Goff, 79, of Rebecca passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton.

Charles was born on July 25, 1945 in Turner County to the late Charlie Wes and Ernie Mae Dupree Goff. He was retired having worked many jobs, but most recently he was employed by Irwin County in the maintenance department. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent, song lead and a deacon for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Cheryl Goff of Rebecca; brother, Jonny Carlton Goff of Leesburg; niece and nephews, Pam (Dean) Harrell, Jeff (Jill Carter), Robert (Lori) Goff and Eddie (Crystal) Goff; step-children, A. J. (Wendy) Johnson, Shannon (Thomas) Horton and Linsey (Brian) Shockley; step-grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Christopher Horton, Cassie Horton and Woodfin Shockley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Margie (Charlie) Carter.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Harmony Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Harmony Baptist Church.
