Charlotte Ann Nix Black, 77, of Sycamore passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Atrium Healthcare in Macon.
Charlotte was born on November 2, 1946 in Turner County to the late Evelyn Wright. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Charlotte also worked at Carter’s Fried Chicken and Keith-A-Que for many years. She loved the Atlanta Braves. Charlotte also had a generous heart and a genuine love for people.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann (Donald) Layfield of Forsyth; sons, Bobby (Melissa) Morris of Rebecca and Benji Marshall of Sycamore; sister, Betty (Willie) Turner of Sycamore; grandchildren, Dustin Miller, Kristian Harris, Grace Layfield, Charity Layfield, Austin Morris and Cody Morris; great-grandchildren, Lola Harris, Lily Harris, Silas Harris, Reagan Miller, Braxton Miller and Charlotte May Layfield. She is also survived by a special grandson, Dillon Massey. She was loved and supported by special cousins, Teresa (Jason) Miller and Sue (Rick) Davis.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Black and the fathers of her children, Benjamin Marshall and Jackie Morris.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Rose Hill Cemetery. For those who wish to visit with the family, they may be contacted at the home of Bobby and Melissa Morris, 44 Holley Street, Rebecca, Georgia 31783.
