Corrine Peacock Williams

Corrine Peacock Williams, 90, of Ashburn passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at her residence.

Corrine was born on May 23, 1933 in Soperton to the late Joe and Annie Peacock. She was a seamstress having worked at several sewing factories. She was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Corrine loved to fish and especially enjoyed fishing trips to Florida with her son, Wayne. She was a hard worker and never sat still for very long. Even in her later years she still worked and stayed busy keeping up her yard.

She is survived by her son, Wayne (Sheran) Goff of Rebecca; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Williams; son, Larry Goff and several siblings.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 24, 2023 in Bethel Cemetery. The family will greet friends Friday, November 24, 2023 from 9:30 AM until time to depart for the cemetery at Perry Funeral Chapel.
