David Gene Powers, II

David Gene Powers II, born on June 30, 1996, in Orlando, Florida, passed away on January 20, 2025 in Rebecca, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and strength. David is survived by his devoted mother, Cheryl Powers and his three loving older sisters: Amanda Powers, Allison Ramirez (Brandon), and Angela Powers, his cherished niece Alyssa Powers, and his beloved nephew Austin Ramirez. He was preceded in death by his father, David Gene Powers, whose memory David honored throughout his life.

A naturally gifted craftsman, teammate and silent leader, David poured his heart and soul into every project he he touched. Whether building docks, pouring concrete or creating with wood, his work reflected his patience, creativity, and heartfelt dedication. He took great pride in every dock he built, concrete slab he poured, truck he lifted, light he hung, or home he built. David’s hard work, creativity, and attention to detail resonated in every task he took on and truly reflected who he was as a son, brother, uncle, and friend. His craftsmanship reflected his character—strong, reliable, and built to last. Beyond his work, David will be remembered for his lifted trucks, motorcycle rides down an open road, faith in God, belief in love, and unwavering strength. He was honest and kind, with a thoughtful and sentimental nature that made him someone others could always count on. He stood up for the underdog, embodying fairness, compassion, and courage in everything he did. His loyalty to those he loved was unwavering, and his presence brought warmth and strength to everyone who knew him.

David will be remembered not only for his skills but for his character. He was honest, thoughtful, and fiercely loyal, with a kind heart that drew people to him. David’s presence lit up the lives of his family and friends, and his memory will continue to bring them comfort and inspiration. Though his time here was far too short, the love, kindness, and strength he shared with the world will never be forgotten.
