Gail Nicholson

Linda Gail Wilson Nicholson, 74, of Ashburn passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at Legacy Village in Tifton.

Gail was born on November 18, 1949 in Turner County to the late A. K. and Mary Swain Wilson. She was a member of the Ashburn First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the adult choir. She also retired from the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany. Gail loved her family and friends and enjoyed taking care of them.

She is survived by her brother, Roger (Millie) Wilson of Ashburn; nephew, Tony Halligan of Daphne, Alabama.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Owen Nicholson, Jr.; son, James Chadwick “Chad” Nicholson; and siblings, Joann Halligan and Charles Wilson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Ashburn First United Methodist Church. The family will greet friends from 10:00AM until the hour of the service.
