Gary William Roberts

Gary William Roberts, 80, of Ashburn passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at his residence.

Gary was born on March 5, 1944 in Tampa, Florida to the late Jack and Latrelle Branch Roberts. He was Bus Driver for the Turner County Board of Education. Gary was a master mechanic having worked for the Ford Motor Company for many years. After his retirement from Ford, he was a Trolley Driver at Dollywood. He also loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Gail D. Maddox of Dublin; sons, Theron Ross Roberts of Ashburn and Roy A. (Alma) Matthews of Middleburg, Florida. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Sharpe Roberts and brothers, Barry Matthews and Ricky Matthews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
