Gertrude E. Craft, who was known as Trudy was born May 21st, 1945 at home in Chula, GA to Henry Evers & Lillian Finley Evers.
She grew up in Irwin county with 6 siblings. She moved to Ashburn when she met the love of her life Jimmy D. Craft over 51 years ago.
She transitioned to our heavenly home Wednesday, December 21st at 10:28 AM where she is having the time of her life with her baby son, Michael Smith & Jesus! She was surrounded by her beloved husband, children & grandchildren.
She was self employed and a business owner for most of her life. She was known by many as Lady Ranger. She was beautiful, smart, spunky, and just lil sassy.
She loved the Lord and her husband, children & grandchildren with all of her heart.
She is survived by her husband Jimmy D. Craft of Sycamore, daughters Linda Luke and Ann Fuller, a son Perry Smith & step son Jimmy Craft II, and she has one son in heaven Michael Smith, 4 grandchildren Jimmy (Eric Schatz) Fuller, Jessica Fuller, Justin Smith & (Rachel), Mika Smith and 7 great grandchildren Logan & (Hayden), Lexi, Levi, Jaycee, Adalee Grace & Ivy Rain.
She cherished & loved all of her friends!! Thank you to all who have called, came by or said a prayer for her! May God bless you & keep you & cause His face to shine upon you!! She hopes to see each of you on the other side one day!
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 23, 2022 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private. The family will greet friends Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel.
