Helen C. Williford

Helen Cravey Williford, 92, of Blairsville passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Union County Nursing Home.

Helen was born on August 30, 1931 in Sycamore to the late Thomas Watson and Martha Ford Cravey. She was a homemaker and a member of Clements Chapel Methodist Church. Helen loved her family and always took great care of them. She is known for remembering and calling all of her family and friends to wish them a happy birthday.

She is survived by her son, Jim Williford of Elijay; sister, Jewell C. Forlaw of Nashville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilmer Williford, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
