Isaac Benjamin NeSmith

Isaac Benjamin NeSmith, of Sycamore, Georgia, passed away March 28th, 2025, at the age of 41. Born in Tifton, Georgia to Jimmy Kendall and Donna Ann Austin NeSmith on June 9, 1983, Isaac was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

Isaac was a 2001 graduate of Turner County High School and furthered his education at Moultrie Technical College and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. He was a dedicated farmer, continuing the family legacy at NeSmith Farms. Born into one of the most hard-working farm families in Turner County, Isaac had inherited a work ethic like no other. His commitment to hard work was matched only by his devotion to his family, friends, and church. In addition to his love of farming, he enjoyed spending time hunting, golfing, and fishing with his sons as well as raising hunting dogs.

A man of God, Isaac had a profound impact on those around him. He was known for his great sense of humor and his unwavering support for his loved ones. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, always putting his family first. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where he taught the 1st-4thGrades Sunday School Class. He was also a member of Turner County Young Farmers where he served one term as Chapter President.

In addition to his parents, Isaac is survived by his loving wife, Keegan Westberry NeSmith, his sons, Waylon Garrett NeSmith and Eason James NeSmith, and his daughters, Crosby Catherine Daniel and Olivia Claire Daniel, all of Sycamore. He is also survived by his sisters, Keri Ann (Will) Williford of Sycamore and Lacy Kendall (Tad) Harper of Alapaha, as well as his grandparents, Jimmy and LaRue NeSmith of Sycamore, father in law Mike Westberry and mother in law Shannon (Jeff) Luke all of Darien, brother in laws Ben (Sarah) Westberry of Dallas, Chris (Anja) Luke of Lake Norman, NC, and Jacob Luke of Darien and a sister in law Carley Luke of Darien. Isaac was a proud “Uncle Snize” to his nieces, Anna Belle Williford, Molly Kate Williford, and Kendall Ann Harper, his nephews, Kolt Jensen Harper and Carson Thomas Westberry, and great nephew, Kyan James Williford. He is also survived by his uncles and aunts, Chris NeSmith and Tony and Beth NeSmith, Juanita and Rick Cleghorn, Cindy and Phil Gilley, all of Sycamore, Cortez Purcell of Ashburn, Darrell and Kay Austin of Cordele, Vickie and Greg Brown of Ashburn, Alan Austin of Newborn, Janice and Grant York of St. Augustine, Florida, and Bruce and Greta Austin of Knoxville, Tennessee, Jay and Valerie Hutcheson of Brunswick, and many close cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church with interment to follow in Bethel Cemetery. The family will greet friends Monday, March 31, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church.

While flowers will be accepted, for those who wish, please make donations to Bethel Baptist Church, 2245 Bethel Road, Sycamore, Georgia 31790.

The family would love for everyone to wear blue in Isaac’s honor and suits not preferred.

Isaac’s spirit and love will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
