Jacquelyn "Jackie" Sue Walker Hill Grantham

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Sue Walker Hill Grantham, 73, of Ashburn passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at Tift Regional Medical Center Hospital in Tifton with her family by her side.

Jackie was born on November 14, 1948 to the late Jack and Dannie Nelson Walker. She graduated high school in 1966. Jackie was an avid reader and always enjoyed cooking, sewing, and caring for people. She was always smiling and had a sparkle in her eye. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and all her family. 

She is survived by her sons, William “Bill” (Kristie) Hill of Perry, and John (Georgia) Hill of McDonough. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chandler Hill of Woodstock, Colby Hill of Statesboro and Chloe Hill of Perry, and Jake Hill and Luke Hill of McDonough as well as her sister-in-law, Harolene Hill (Jay) Shingler of Sycamore. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Grantham, and by the father of her children, William Hill. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Sycamore Baptist Church. The family will greet friends at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the hour of services. A private burial will take place at a later date.
