Jerry Gordon Kendrick

Jerry Gordon Kendrick, 72, of Sycamore passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at The Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Jerry was born on November 11, 1951 in Ashburn to the late Rev. Chester Dixon and Bertie Lee Cleghorn Kendrick. He was a farmer and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Jerry had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He loved NASCAR and was a Jeff Gordon fan. Jerry never met a stranger. Most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Michael) Zimmerman of Warner Robins and Lindsay (Mark) Prater of Ellaville; son, Ches Kendrick of Ashburn; grandchildren, David Zimmerman, J. T. Prater, Ty Prater and Gabe Prater. He is also survived by his former wife and mother of his three children, Gloria Truelove.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Bethel Baptist Church. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until the hour of services at the church. Interment will be private.
