Linda Sue Walker

Linda Sue Walker, 70, of Ashburn passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 at her home in Rebecca. 

Linda was born on November 23, 1953 in Macon County to the late Henry and Mabel Odom. She was a retired daycare teacher at Doodlebugs Preschool in Ashburn for several years leaving her mark on many children. Linda was passionate about working with and loving all children, but especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Bible Methodist Church in Cordele where she devoted many years and greatly loved her church family. 

She is survived by her husband, Dale Walker of Rebecca; sons, John (Amy) Aultman of Sylvester, Andy (Dora) Aultman of Wilcox County, and Michael (Nancy) Aultman of Vienna; grandchildren, Robert (Hannah) Aultman, Brianna (Travis) Richardson, Ryan Aultman, Jack Aultman, Michelle (Jamie) Turner, April Mendez, Christopher (Beth) Aultman, and Robert Aultman; and great-grandchildren, Alexander Richardson, Eleanor Richardson, Chloe Aultman, Felicity Aultman, Kirkland Turner, Gracen Turner, Chyenne Mendez, and Elizabeth Mendez. 

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Bud Hitson and infant son, Troy Lee Aultman. 

A funeral service will be held at 5:00PM on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
