Patricia Faye Wise Lumpkin

Patricia Faye Wise Lumpkin, 72, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on February 10, 2023. 

Patricia (Pat Pat/Trisha) was born on September 21,1950 in Turner County to James Ollie Wise and Nettie Era Lamb Wise. Pat Pat spent over 30 years working in retail. She found joy in talking to and helping customers. Her greatest enjoyment in life was her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling to the beach, visiting the mountains, shopping, socializing with family and friends, and dining at her favorite restaurants. Pat Pat was always quick with a comeback and never shied away from an argument. Some of her favorite sayings were “Bet me, Don’t worry- be happy, When it’s your time- it’s your time, You better hope you look this good when you are my age, and many more!”

Survivors include her children, Christopher Lumpkin (John Stokes) of Tifton, Kristy (Chad) Stone of Tifton and Misty (David) Bass of Fort Knox, KY. She is also survived by siblings, Carl (Gina) Wise of Williamson, Ga, Tommy (Betty) Wise of Tifton, Ray (Brenda) Wise of Eastman and sisters in law, Shirley Ann Wise of Tifton and Jeanette Wise of Ashburn. She is also survived by her precious grandchildren, Dylan Bass, Kaylee Lumpkin (Cameron Perry), Daisy (Ethan) Dupree, Connor Lumpkin, Demi Bass, Camden Lumpkin, Ellie Stone, Mollie Stone, Brody Stone, Drew Bass and Dawsyn Lou Bass. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lumpkin, her parents, Ollie and Era Wise, siblings, Lamar Wise, Mary Frances (Lamar) Whiddon, Bobby Wise, Lonnie (Susan) Wise, Sylvia Wise, Donald (Linda) Wise, and Melba (Harris) Satterfield and a daughter-in-law, Karen Lumpkin. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 13, 2023 at Harmony Baptist Church in Ashburn with interment to follow at Harmony Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Perry Funeral Chapel from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
