Richard Clinton Cawley, 68, of Ashburn passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at his residence.

Richard was born on February 8, 1957 in Tifton to the late Henry Woodrow and Lou Eva Herndon Cawley. He was a farmer and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna Cawley of Ashburn; sons, Clint (Rachel) Cawley of Sycamore and Hank Miller of Ashburn; grandson, Houston Cawley; brothers, Pat (Kitty) Cawley of Tifton, Ronnie (Lesha) Cawley of Leesburg and Keith (Mona) Cawley of Ashburn; sister-in-law, Debbie (James) Moore; nieces and nephews, Buddy (Faith) Cawley, Verla Williams, Gwen (David) Driggers, Stefan (Brittany) Cawley, Amanda (Hunter) Daughtrey, Trent (Elise) Cawley, Ted (Ivy) Wright, Jonathan (Hollie) Moore, Kayla Underwood, Justin (Kayla) Giddens and Josh (Ariz) Giddens.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jodi Cawley Medford, sisters-in-law, Dell Bridges and Dawn Bridges, mother-in-law, Mary Ann Bridges and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Angela Bridges.

The family will greet friends Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

While flowers will be accepted, for those who wish please make memorial donations to Bethel Baptist Church, 2245 Bethel Road Sycamore, GA 31790.
