Roger Robert Peek

Roger Robert Peek, 61, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024. He was born on January 5, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Robert Roscoe Peek and Rosemary Agee.

Roger proudly served his country in the United States Marines, and his love for his country and his family remained central throughout his life. He was an avid motorcyclist and found great joy in spending time outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying nature. His favorite pastimes were karaoke and cookouts, where he could gather with family and friends, sharing good food, laughter, and music.

 An enthusiastic sports fan, Roger was a dedicated supporter of his hometown team, the Detroit Lions, and he enjoyed watching games and cheering them on.

Roger's family was his heart, and he cherished the moments he spent with them. He is survived by his daughter, Amber Estrada, who served in the United States Navy; son, Christopher Peek of Roseville, Michigan; sisters, Lisa Peek of Warner Robins, GA; and Kim Peek Eikov of West Palm Beach, FL; and brother, Allan Peek of Sycamore, GA. His extended family and friends will deeply miss him.

A memorial service to celebrate Roger's life will be held at a later date. The family asks for privacy during this time of mourning and appreciates the support and love from all who knew him.

Roger will be remembered for his strong sense of duty, his love for his family, and his zest for life. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
