Royce Albert "Pig" Presley

Royce Albert Presley, 80, of Ashburn passed away July 5, 2023 at Tift Regional Hospital.

Royce, affectionately known to everyone as “Pig”, was born in Crisp County on May 16, 1943 to the late Oscar and Nora Belle Hancock Presley. He was an active member of Morningside Baptist Church in Ashburn. Pig loved to farm and was known to be a hard worker. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting. He loved his family dearly, but especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Kennedy Presley; daughters, Kim (Russell) Guess of Ashburn and Mandy (Neil) Ezell of Ashburn; grandchildren, Alec (Taishi) Guess, Neisha Ezell and Quiyon Ezell; great-grandchildren, Malayshia Ezell, Marley Guess, Zayley Guess, Presley Buchanan and Madison Ezell; sisters, Loretta (Kenneth) Wallace of Ashburn; Norma (Larry) Manley of Leesburg and Glenda Conley of Tifton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Everet Prestley, Bernice Goodman, Hubert Presley, Floyd Presley, Ronald Presley, James Presley, Mary Hausler and Delia Ward.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Morningside Baptist Church. The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, July 7, 2023 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
