Timothy Allan Faircloth

Timothy Allan Faircloth, 71, of Ashburn passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at his residence.

Tim was born in Dougherty County on March 4, 1952 to the late James Junious Faircloth and Margaret Garner Faircloth. He was a farmer and retired from the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany where he was a mechanic. Tim was educated in Turner County and played football, baseball and ran track for the Turner County Rebels. He also played football collegiately for the Memphis Tigers. He was baptized at Amboy Baptist Church and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed being on his boat that was named “Knot 4 Sale.”

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Brenda Sue Faircloth of Ashburn; brothers, Jim (Char) Faircloth of Tucson, Arizona and Jay (Miriam) Faircloth of Havana, Florida.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Timothy Pate Faircloth and Lydia Sue Faircloth and his brothers, Ty Faircloth and John Faircloth.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM until the hour of service at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private.
