Wanda Howell Bell

Wanda Howell Bell, 64, of Ashburn passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Wanda was born on March 21, 1958 in Ashburn to the late Edward Houston Howell and Ruby Nell Jones. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Wanda was dedicated to her work and retired from South Georgia Banking Company as a Customer Service Representative but her true passion was with her company, Bell’s Catering. Wanda loved her family, but especially her daughters, Ashton and Laurel, to whom she devoted her time. She also loved helping people but above all, she loved her Lord. Wanda had many furbabies, but she was especially fond of Teddy. She loved music and dancing and loved listening to Elvis Presley.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Michael Bell of Ashburn; daughters, Ashton Bell of Ashburn and Laurel Bell of Ashburn; sister, Donna (Ronnie) Waters of Rebecca. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother and his wife, Edward Houston “Ed” and Brenda Howell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
