Yong Cha "Jackie" Swymer

Yong Cha “Jackie” Swymer, 83, of Ashburn passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Evergreen Assisted Living in Albany.

Jackie was born in South Korea on October 16, 1939. She was a beautician and was the owner of Jackie’s Beauty Salon for over 30 years. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Jackie enjoyed working in her yard and her home and loved to go fishing. She also enjoyed friends and family around the dinner table in which she prepared lovingly.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Jackie (Gary) Clifford of Ashburn and Debbie (Les) Joiner of Perry; grandchildren, Steven Godwin, Stephen Godwin, Corey (Mary) Swymer and Courtney Joiner; great-grandchildren, Lyla Wilson and Lesli Wilson; brother, Pyong Ho Yun of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George T. Swymer.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 Am Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
